About Meraki Makers
Founded right here in Collingwood, Ontario, Meraki Makers was born from a genuine desire to celebrate local talent and bring our community together. We organize welcoming, accessible artisan markets that connect thoughtful shoppers with the passionate hands behind one-of-a-kind handcrafted goods.
Creating a space for community to connect
Meraki Makers started with a simple belief: our neighbourhoods thrive when we support independent creators. We set out to design more than just pop-up craft sales. We build lively gathering places where people can swap stories, share creative skills, and build meaningful relationships across South Georgian Bay.
Curated with care, rooted in quality
Every artisan we feature is chosen for their artistry, care, and unmistakable passion for handmade goods. Choosing local over big-box retail keeps creativity alive in our towns, sustains independent families, and brings authentic craftsmanship straight into your everyday life.
Warm, welcoming, and always free to enter
Whether you are a seasoned collector or just strolling downtown Collingwood on the weekend, everyone is warmly welcomed at our events. Enjoy free admission, discover rich product variety, and experience firsthand what makes our vibrant creative community so special.
"Meraki Makers has completely transformed how our town gathers. The genuine warmth, incredible talent, and vibrant atmosphere make every market an unmissable experience for Collingwood locals."
